REMINTON NJS KEIRIN frameset

Stunning frameset from the now-defunct Reminton Studio in Gunma-Ken. The builder of Reminton frames (cant remember his name, I will find out shortly!), was the apprentice to Nagasawa, who in turn apprenticed for De Rosa. He has since died, and therefore Reminton frames are no longer made. He was famous for his unusual use of different styles of lugs. This frame features nice bullet shaped seat stays, and etchings on the rear bridge, bb shell and track end of 'ARAI' which was most likely the Keirin professional who commissioned this frameset.
There is a very mild ding on the top tube, and a few paint chips here and there, but they are very well hidden by the complex paint and metalflakes!! This frame is stunning. There are also big scratches on the bb shell on one side.

Rare 3Rensho Yoshi Konno frameset from Chiba-Ken. This is a pretty rough frame, but perfect for a street bike. There is a shallow dent on each side of the top tube, and plenty of paint chips and scratches. The frame is straight and I rarely stock 3Rensho frames. Since the death of Yoshi Konno these frames were no longer built, and outside of Japan are certainly the most sought after frames. I suggest you re-grease the headset and bb before riding.
Aero seat stays are nice, and uncommon on a 3rensho. Front fork lug is a bit unusual too! If you plan to refinish this frame, I have a original decal kit for $250 extra. These authentic decals are super-rare.

Nice old Umezawa Keirin frame, which would have been retired from the track after getting a small, but moderately deep dent near the seat tube, on the top tube. This frame is still straight and is the perfect Keirin NJS street bike frame! There are plenty of scratches and chips on the frame, but the grey paint hides it pretty well. Suntour rear track ends, and NJS bb and headset. Flat top 'love heart' fork is nice and classic. Not drilled for brakes. I have clamp on rear or front brakes if you want one. Rear $40 front $76.
Good affordable frame if you do not want to pay $800 plus....

Rare KALAVINKA frameset from the famous Tokyo builder. In Japan Kalavinka frames are the most expensive to buy used, even more than Nagasawa, and 3Rensho.
This one has beautiful sky-blue paint, Kalavinka stamped lugs, flat top forks, Kanji graphics, and 2 TSUKUMO Championship stripes bird graphics! Very cool frame. It has 2 dents in the seat tube from contact with handlebars I would guess. I have taken a photo of the worst one, and the other is on the opposite side but is very small. The tube is still straight and strong, but I always like to specify dents like this.
